Ok, so I don’t know if Ft. Lauderdale “kicks ass”, but I sure had a alot of fun.

We drove there Fri night and it was a lot shorter of a drive than I remembered. We went to this kick-ass Idian restaurant, which is the “parent restaurant” of our favorite Indian restaurant here in town.
Then we got a room and the next day went shopping at this mile-long outlet mall that they actually added a wing to. It took us five hours to get from one end to the other! And after all that, there is no shuttle to take you back to the other end, so w/ our feet falling off, we had to high-tail it through thick crowds a mile back.
Then we had dinner w/ friends and drove back Sat nite.
I forgot to bring my pencam into the mile-long mall, but that’s ok cuz I had my U60. I have not offloaded pix yet.
We totally freaked out when we saw the Swiss Chalet. We JUST LOVE that place. M is from Toronto and they’re all over the place there and we love the food. We’d heard that all the ones in the states closed and when we saw it we about went off the road. It may sound silly, but it’s the silly little things in life that can be the most fun.
I want to go back really bad. It’s just fun to get a change of scene and shop & eat at different places. I want to go next weekend, but there is supposedly a star party next weekend that M wants to go to, to view Mars. So we’ll have to play it by ear.
