After being tired all day, so tired in fact that I thought I was coming down w/ something. Weak, almost dizzy, just freaking exhausted. All day I figured I’d go to bed early. Even after dinner (which usually gives me renewed energy) I was dead-exhausted. So I figured I’d go to bed like 10-ish, that’s “early” to me. Well, NOW I’m awake! NOW I have energy! What the f*ck!?!?!? It’s rediculous. Now if I want to actually SLEEP I’ll have to take a sleeping pill. What is this sh*t?

I’m so tired of being tired all the time. I’m too tired to shower, it’s too exhausting, so I stay home. I want to exercise to prevent scale-creep, but I’m too tired. I just made some coffee and popped an ephedra, I hope I don’t explode.

They have HELLO KITTY taxi cabs in Tokyo! Let’s go!

Why do I do this? I am tired but I don’t want to go to bed. When I go to bed, I lay there worrying about all kinds of things…

I’ve always been prone to staying up when I’m good and tired, but tonight I just seem to be afraid of going to bed. Last night I slept like a baby until I got up to pill the cat (give kitty a pill) then after that I laid awake forever and then even once asleep, as I tossed and turned, I’d wake up w/ a worry on my mind, then drift back off to sleep. Ugh.

My eyes are heavy. If I read a book I’ll fall asleep, so I surf in front of a bright monitor.

Listening to Rush’s “Time Stand Still” over and over and over… That song has always stirred me, but now it stirs me and brings back memories. I love Rush. I can’t find my Chronicles CD set. >:| I can’t wait until tomorrow, I’ll burn it onto a CD-RW and then CRANK it in my car where I really CAN crank it.

I loved running the RUSH laser light show, that was one of my favorites, and I LOVED hearing this song cranked in the dome. Not only was the imagery great in the RUSH laser show, but of course the music just… was the best.

I snipped the wire to the speaker on my Pencam SD! Now I can take stealth pictures of people again!

What a neat website: 640×480.net It’s a website portfolio of photos taken w/ a 640×480 camera (a very low resolution, cheap digital camera, even cheaper and lower quality than the Pencams). The photos are very artistic. Just goes to show, you don’t need an expensive camera to make nice pix! Really, this site is worth a look.

I went to Target today to drool over the tiny Sony Cybershot DSC-U30. (I particularly love the BLUE one.)

While I was there, I took a photo comparing the physical size compared to the Aiptek Pencam SD.

Then when I got home, I did a comparison shot of the Aiptek Mini Pencam compared to the Aiptek Pencam SD and the Sony Cybershot DSC-U60.

A few things bear repeating:

If you are a fan of “toycams” or pencams or any tiny, cheap, digital camera (like the Aiptek Mini Pencam; Aiptek Pencam SD, Aiptek Pocket DVII, etc.), I highly recommend this yahoo group: the Tinycans Yahoo Group. Very active, very nice and helpful people, lots of useful help/info re. tinycams.

Also, Spamex.com: Create an email alias for EACH instance that you have to give out an email address (to anyone but a personal friend) so that if/when you start getting spam at that alias, you just TURN IT OFF! I’ve been using the service for over a year now and it is worth 100x the money I pay for it (CHEAP!).

Where did today go? Builder woke me up @ crack of dawn, then roofer came early to fix same leak for 3rd time. Went to nutritionist then ate bad food. Self-destruction today. … I want steak. I crave steak. I want to take a nap. I’m so tired. I have no energy anymore. No energy to exercise, so my stamina is waning, and it’s a vicious cycle. Soft bed beckons. M is home. Bye.

It’s my birthday-week! We went for a day trip yesterday. It was fun. I’m tired today, though. I think we’ll make some coffee w/ our new coffee press.

I am so sick of this. I go to bed, I sleep 4, maybe 5 hours, then I wake up cuz I have to pee so bad. I get up, go to the bathroom, then I can’t go back to sleep. Yesterday this happened and it took two hours to go back to sleep. I can’t take a sleeping pill now cuz I have to get up sooner than it’ll wear off. So here I am, on 4 hours sleep, on the computer cuz I got tired of staring at the cieling. CRAP!

Why is it that some people can be so nice, being generous to strangers, caring, giving, kind. While others can be fucking flaming bitch ass-holes to a total stranger for ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING REASON!?

One time I went into a TCBY. I ordered something and so did my better half. When we went to pay, my order was missing. M pointed out that I had ordered something also. The clerk seemed miffed. So, I tried to make sure that I was polite. I repeated my order politely. She could not hear me. She asked me to repeat myself. I did, slower and clearer, but I smiled and was polite and not sarcastic. Her reply was something like “You know, I don’t like your attitude!” Excuse me? You ASKED me to repeat myself and when I did you attack me? Nobody EVER when on the clock should ever treat a customer that way. Even if I WAS giving her attitude, she has to just take it, that’s her job. The whole scene escaladed of course, because you DO NOT treat ME like shit and not have me ruin your day! You ESPECIALLY don’t accuse me of doing something I didn’t do and not get a piece of my mind!

Fucking bitch.

I have never wanted to see somebody reprimanded by their boss and fired so much in my life. [I have to be careful what I put in writing, you know.]

Until yesterday.

Yesterday we went to close on the refinancing of our house (refinancing for a lower interest rate) and the closer was not only completely incompetant, but she was psycho!

Do u have an internet-enabled phone? Can u upload photos? Surf the web? What is YOUR monthly usage? I think I used 6mb last month, but I’m not sure. I’ve used 837 k in six days. Maybe it was just over 4. I have to watch for my bill.

I want to. But I’d have to get up early. And it’s already 1:20am. Also, there’s a Krispy Kreme where I want to go, and I’ll eat five dozen if I go. rrrrrrrrr….

Joe Mug’s coffe @ Books-A-Million sux compared to Starbucks. Yeah, yeah, I hear PEETS is better, yadda yadda yadda, but I live in a one-horse town and Starbucks is as good as it gets. But man, that Joe Mugs stuff is awful. At least the mochas are, they’re too sweet and are even powdery once you’ve drank half of it. YACK! My favorite is STILL Christopher Bean flavored coffee, especially the Tiramsu flavor (find it in the grocery store). MMMmmmmm. Now I’ll be up all night!

Well, I guess you could say that I’m finally catching up w/ sorting and uploading pictures. I’m nowhere near done. I take so many pictures now that I’m digital, that I may just have to face that I just don’t have the time to get all the good ones online.

I forgot to mention, but our kitty Crystal appeared in a Pet Supermarket ad. We entered her into the SpokesPet Competition and she is a finalist. She still has a chance at winning grand prize. I have yet to scan the ad to put online, I have just been so busy and so tired. But it’s on my to-do list.

I didn’t even realize that today was “nine eleven” until I started surfing. I sort of ot tired of all the “nine eleven” propaganda all over tv at the time. But now that it’s not the only thing anyone can talk about, I can step back and really think about it.

I was asleep when it happened. The phone rang and I picked it up but nobody was there. I should have turned the TV on, cuz I could have caught the whole thing from the start. But I went back to sleep. The phone rang again about ten minutes later, twenty minutes later, and it was my mom, upset, telling me what happened. I was like “what?” picturing a little hole in the building. I turned on the tv and could not believe what I saw.

I won’t recount the whole thing. But I did spend the whole day in front of the tv w/ the laptop on the coffee table. I worried that things would just fall apart all over our country, now that I had finally moved into my dream home. Thankfully the country rebounded.

There have been some good 9-11 shows since then, including an HBO presentation of “Telling Nicholas” and TLC’s “Anatomy of a Collapse“.
