Transit of Venus
I can’t believe I forgot the Transit of Venus. Big deal for astronomy types. But we didn’t even get home from the Stanley Cup game until 3 or 3:30 am, and we don’t have our own solar filter, so we would have had to go to a place where filtered scopes were set up at dawn, and that sure wasn’t gonna happen after pulling in the driveway at 3:30am.
