I joined a local paran0rma1 group. It was really neat, I ran into an old friend I had not seen in 15 years so that was really cool. I look forward to future meetings. 2 days after the meeting I got an odd phone call talking about how it was a “cl0sed group” (avoiding g00gle w/ the misspellings) and that I was “invited by accident” but that I’m welcome to keep going since they like me but not to expect to go on any investigations any time soon. Fine. No problem. But WTF!? Sounds like a really strange disorganized and heavily political group. *sigh* So these people from another paran0rma1 group who were at the same meeting liked me so much they’ve officially invited me to join. So I’m pshyced.
I’ve always been very interested in the paran0rma1 but have experienced NOTHING. NOOOOoOthing. It’s like I’m in this isolation box. That or there is NOTHING. No ghosts, no demons, no psychic abilities, no afterlife, no god. Which is it? Idunno. So I go into this as a “hopeful skeptic”.

So then last night I have this long involved dream that we’re at a restaurant w/ my dead brother and he asks if I want to see my dead sister (yes I’ve had a lot of loss). I said “sure, but” and I can’t remeber what I said. But I remember saying somethign to the effect of it had better be convincing. I rememebr banging my arms on the table to make sure that I wasn’t dreaming (*), and I could FEEL it so I was convinced it wasn’t a dream. So later on in the dream I meet my sister. She looks the same, is dressed like me, and it’s wonderful. But later on I realize it is not her voice, it’s a different voice and also has a bad southern hick accent. I get angry that once again I’ve been denied a real visit with her.
I wonder if this dream was trying to tell me that the reason I “see nothing”, have had no paranormal experiences, is because I’m so science minded that I’d doubt it was real even if it happened.
(*) Lately I’ve had a lot of dreams where IN the dream I say “well, that’;s ok because this is just a dream” or “wow I wonder if this is a dream or not”. How odd is that?
My pug is asleep against my foot. I love him so much. 
Strange life.
The pug woke me up too early today so then I got tired later on and slept on the couch WAY too long. Now it’s late and I’m surfing w/ no bra on (*) (*) and have accomplished nothing.
