Did you know that people paint their cats? They do! I had no idea! I was at a bookstore today and saw this book lying out of place: "Why Paint Cats" (not "Why Cats Paint", that’s a different book altogether). I just discovered (from going to Amazon.com to get the book links) that both books are by the same author. So, "Why Paint Cats" is all about these people who actually paint their cats! At first I thought it was sick, but supposedly it’s humane. I don’t know. I really don’t. But the results are awesome. I plan to curl up w/ this book and see what the author has to say about how "humane" this really is. And a question: If it is "humane", does that make it "ok"?

I just discovered today that my blog is not rendering right in IE in spite of using
a freely-distributed stylesheet and layout that renders just fine. I already had to
come to terms w/ the fact that Moveable Type
blogs don’t render right in Netscape 4.x (now considered outdated!), but I at LEAST
have to make my blog render in all the current browsers, or I won’t be able to
sleep. So yes, I am working on it.
UPDATE: FIXED IT.

I picked up some books yesterday (and other recent days): The Astronomy Cafe: 365 Questions and Answers from “Ask the Astronomer” a great bathroom-reader for the brainy because it’s short entries but not lame stuff…. || Dreamweaver MX The Missing Manual…. || and this book looks really good: HTML for the World Wide Web with XHTML and CSS.
