We are volunteering for a cat rescue today, driving a cat from a shelter to the rescue organization in Tampa. We just did the drop-off and are going to have dinner at a truck stop. They have internet which you have to pay for but the wifi is (on purpose or by accidnet?) free. So here I am, waiting for my steak in the truck stop, yay!

I was hoping to go to Canada w/ M this month. But truthfully, the stress of it all was just too much. And then Riley got sick which put off his last shots, and without those last shots, he can’t be boarded, can’t fly, and can’t cross the Border. So I pretty much have to stay home, and I’m really ok w/ that. It’s too much to arrange boarding for Riley and Crystal, and then find someone to catsit Sasha who can’t be boarded. Also, it’s a lot cheaper to stay home! Plane ticket, animal boarding, running money.

But I do hope to get up there soon. I love going to Toronto. Toronto rocks. And I love going in the winter, I love freezing my ass of. (no really, I LOVE the cold.)

We’re going out of town again. To the other coast again. I’ll be moblogging for sure, but most of the photos will be the same as other trips to the other coast. Alligator Alley, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale highway signs, the mile-long mall. But tonight will be the best, we’re going to see RUSH in concert! I love them! Yeah, they’re still around, it’s their 30th anniversary tour. I’m SO psyched! I don’t know if I’ll moblog the concert, it depends. If cameras are not allowed, the huge LCD screen on my camera phone may be a risk. But I WILL bring my pencam, which is more stealth, so perhaps after the concert I’ll have some pix. I have no idea. I’m not even sure how close we are. I think we’re pretty close, as I got tickets before the general public could.

Of course I’ll be online via my Clie UX50 anywhere there’s GPRS cell signal and my teeny P1120 laptop [link|category] anywhere there’s a wifi hot spot.

Taking a road trip to Ft. Lauderdale this weekend. Not sure if we’re staying over Friday night or Saturday night.

Of course I’ll moblog the whole thing, not that it’ll be exciting or anything. I’ll just be glad to get the h*ll out of Dodge for a while.

I’m also hoping we can do a weekend trip to St. Augustine. It’s quite a drive but it’s nice, old, historic, and probably a great photo op.

Well, not getting to Toronto this xmas. We think we’ll go up in February instead. So I won’t get to see Nathan Phillips Square all done up in xmas lights. No biggie, I’ll live. At least it’ll still be winter in February, I love winter. I hope to meet up w/ some people there, maybe even some new friends… go to some meetup.com meetups, go hiking, shopping, etc. But I’m really looking forward to the meetups. It’s hard to meet new people/friends in my one-horse town. Meetup.com meetups are quite popular in Toronto, so it’d be great if I could go to a few… which ones depends on when exactly I am there. A Lomo one would be fun, or just photography.

M & I are also planning on getting to Europe before 2005. I’d like to see London, Ireland, and I’m not sure where else. Any input? I think I’d like to see France. I will definately be planning on going to some meetup.com meetups while I am there, which ones I don’t know yet. Would be fun to meet some people! I think we’ll travel via Eurail.
